The GMI conference begins at 9amPT on Wednesday September 13 and runs to midday Friday September 15. Registration opens at 8:30am. Presentations will be recorded for future viewing, as well as live streamed via Zoom for virtual conference goers.

Breakfast will be served on Sept 13 and 14 starting at 8:30am on the ICBC Concourse level. Lunch and refreshments at breaks will also be provided. While there is no conference dinner, participants can explore and enjoy the many restaurants and cuisines in the downtown core. Reservations for larger groups are strongly recommended.

The conference venue is the Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue in downtown Vancouver (580 W Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V6B 1L6). The building looks like this:

Beware – there is another SFU building across the street that looks like this:

This is not the right place!

Once you have navigated to the conference centre on Hastings St., you will find a set of unmarked bronze doors. Those doors may lead to a Room of Requirement – no one knows because they are permanently locked. Participants will need to head south one block on Seymour St. to the Delta Hotel courtyard and turn left. The entrance to the Wosk Centre is in the courtyard on the left. Ushers will be standing by in the morning to direct you to the correct doors.

The main program sessions will be held in the Asia Pacific Hall (circular style room to facilitate dialogue). Each seat has its own microphone.
